Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist – 4x10 Shifts | No On-Call | Ocala, FL
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to join a growing cardiac services team in Ocala, FL. This role offers a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, no on-call requirements, competitive pay, and a supportive work environment. Ideal for EP techs with experience in catheterization labs, ablations, and cardiac device procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias, heart disease, and peripheral vascular conditions in the Cath/EP Lab

Provide care for patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices, and ablation procedures

Prepare and operate cardiac monitoring and EP equipment

Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

Maintain accurate procedural documentation and assist with inventory of EP devices
-
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiac services team to deliver high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of Electrophysiology experience with knowledge of EP and ablation devices
-
Graduate of a CCAHEP-accredited program
-
BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
Credentialed as Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)

Acute care experience preferred but not required
Shift & Schedule:

4x10 shifts, Days or Nights (Hiring Manager to confirm specific shifts)

No on-call requirements
