Property Maintenance Staff
Job Description
Property Maintenance Staff: $17/18hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and stairwells.
- Perform general groundswork, such as cleaning up trash, sweeping walkways, and maintaining landscaping.
- Change air filters and perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently.
- Replace fire detectors and ensure they are in working order, adhering to safety regulations.
- Assist with turning over units from one tenant to another, which may involve cleaning and minor repairs.
- Mop floors, sanitize surfaces, and maintain cleanliness in shared facilities such as laundry rooms and fitness centers.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management of any shortages.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting and bending.
- Familiarity with basic maintenance procedures and use of cleaning equipment.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
