Athletic Trainer
Location: Greater Hartford Area, Connecticut
Job Type: Per Diem or Part-Time (Up to 6 hours a day, Mon-Fri)
In partnership with our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Athletic Trainer to join our team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in providing essential support for game coverage and practices in local high schools within the Greater Hartford Area, as well as contributing to game coverage at community events.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert athletic training services during high school games, practices, and community events.
- Collaborate with coaching staff, athletes, and healthcare professionals to optimize athlete performance and recovery.
- Assess and treat athletic injuries, implementing appropriate rehabilitation protocols.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records for all athletes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
- Current certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
- State licensure as an Athletic Trainer in Connecticut.
- CPR/AED certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Schedule:
- Per Diem or up to 6 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
- Typical hours are 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with flexibility based on high school game schedules.
