Location: Lower Fairfield Country, CT
Company Description: Our client is a leading producer in the paper industry, specializing in newsprint and various specialty paper grades distributed across North America and globally. With a commitment to excellence, they operate multiple mills in Canada and maintain a strong presence in the market.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Customer Service Account Manager to join the team at our client's corporate headquarters in Fairfield County, Connecticut. This role offers an exciting opportunity to interface directly with customers, logistics partners, and production facilities, playing a pivotal role in enhancing service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of customers, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Coordinate daily communications with customers, mills, and logistics providers.
- Process and confirm orders and delivery plans.
- Monitor and follow up on delivery plans with mills, warehouses, and freight forwarders.
- Resolve order-related issues promptly through effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Associates degree, BA/BS in Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in customer service, ideally within export sales.
- Knowledge of the paper industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong initiative and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
