Payrate: $18-$21 Depending on experience

Essential Job Functions of the Accounting Administrative Assistant

Accounting:
  • Daily POS Cash/Cash deposits reporting and balancing
  • Post A/R payments

Inventory:
  • Generate and distribute daily variance reports
  • Maintain weekly inventory board

General administrative support
  • Answer inbound customer calls
  • Process payments, assist customers with statement issues
  • Order branch office supplies, as indicated
  • Customer info updates

Report generation, writing, manipulation, and analyzation
  • Prepare meeting/presentation/training materials
  • Manage departmental projects and meet deadlines
  • Reconcile expense reports

Other tasks/projects as required

Requirements:
 
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant in accounting/finance
  • High School Graduate (Bachelor's degree or Certification preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task pivoting between department and vertical needs.
  • A high degree of attention to details and a solid analytical skill set
  • Technologically savvy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Expert skills in Excel, including advanced functions, v-look up, pivot tables, etc.
  • Experience in other report writing platforms, such as MITS
