Accounts Receivable & Purchasing Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Shelton, CT (Fully On-Site)
Pay: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Purchasing Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing company in Shelton, CT. This dual-role position plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems, a solid understanding of both AR processes and purchasing, and a proactive approach to vendor and customer relations.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable:

Enter daily cash receipts into the ERP system

Process rebate credit memos

Track and log customer payment activity

Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date for management reporting

Reconcile accounts and assist with reporting as needed
Purchasing:

Support procurement by sourcing vendors and creating purchase orders

Monitor open POs and manage inventory levels

Maintain vendor relationships and follow up on deliveries or discrepancies

Code purchases to appropriate general ledger accounts
Qualifications

Associate degree required (Accounting, Business, or related field preferred)

Prior experience in both Accounts Receivable and Purchasing functions

Experience using ERP systems

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
