Administrative Assistant
$18-19/Hr
On-site in Hartford, CT; Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
Temporary (8-week)

In partnership with a longstanding client, J. Morrissey is looking for a polished administrative professional to support our client's legal team. The ideal candidate must have skills with calendar management, confidentiality, and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex calendar scheduling and meeting coordination using Outlook.
  • Screen and prioritize incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, presentations, and reports as needed.
  • Organize and maintain departmental files and records, both physical and digital.
  • Manage inventory and order office supplies for the department.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reimbursements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures while managing sensitive information.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; additional education preferred.
  • Three years of secretarial experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
