Administrative Director-Labor & Delivery (Central Florida)
Job Description
As The Director, you will ensure the department's standard of nursing practice, nursing policies and procedures meet legal, and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
- Directs the continuity of care of a 25-bed unit with 100 clinical staff, a 24/7 labor and delivery, and a neonatal postpartum unit.
- Uses a demonstrated interdisciplinary team approach to patient care.
- Develops and implements effective, ongoing programs to measure, monitor, assess, and to improve the quality of nursing care delivered to patients. Work toward hospital-wide improvement in meeting assigned units' core measure, patient safety, and service excellence goals.
- Ensures the effective coordination of the patient's care with other services and departments throughout the hospital.
- Ensures provision of quality care and services by maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies.
- Participating in rounding and proactively responds to patient needs to improve patient outcomes and positively impact overall patient experience.
- Fosters a patient-centered care culture by ensuring a quiet healing environment.
Must have 6 years nursing experience plus 2+ years of Recent Acute Care Labor & Delivery and Postpartum Management experience
Bachelor’s Degree-BSN
Registered Nurse, or Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date and Neonate Resuscitate
Basic Cardiac Life Support
Salary 120-140K depending on experience.

In 2010, Krisha's entrepreneurial spirit led her to create the Information Technology division within the organization.
