Athletic Trainer

Location: Greater Hartford Area, Connecticut

Job Type: Per Diem or Part-Time (Up to 6 hours a day, Mon-Fri)

In partnership with our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Athletic Trainer to join our team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in providing essential support for game coverage and practices in local high schools within the Greater Hartford Area, as well as contributing to game coverage at community events.

  • Provide expert athletic training services during high school games, practices, and community events.
  • Collaborate with coaching staff, athletes, and healthcare professionals to optimize athlete performance and recovery.
  • Assess and treat athletic injuries, implementing appropriate rehabilitation protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records for all athletes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and protocols.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
  • Current certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
  • State licensure as an Athletic Trainer in Connecticut.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

  • Per Diem or up to 6 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
  • Typical hours are 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with flexibility based on high school game schedules.
