Contract (3-6 months)
In partnership with a longstanding client, we are hiring a Benefits Supervisor to assist our client on a consulting basis. The Benefits Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a small team and should be an expert in FMLA, ADA, and worker’s compensation.
- Serve as a knowledgeable reference for all health and welfare plans
- Act as the point of contact for external consultants and policy vendors
- When necessary, oversee annual audits and 5500 filings
- Collaborate with team to establish enrollment goals
- Ensure plans and procedures are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and laws
- Oversee Leave of Absence (LOAs) such as COBRA, workers, comp, short and long-term disability, and FMLA
- Set yearly benefits budget and manage expenses
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience in benefits and pension plan administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Must have experience directly managing and leading a team
- Excellent MS Excel skills
