Job Description

Billing Specialist
Pay: $25–28/hr depending on experience
Location: Manchester, CT (fully on-site)
Type: On-site, Full-Time (8:00am – 4:30pm)

In partnership with a longstanding client, we are looking to hire a detail-oriented Billing Specialist in Manchester, CT. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate billing processes and supports strong customer relationships through close collaboration with the sales team.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post bills, invoices, and receipts into accounting system
Ensure timely and accurate invoice creation and distribution
Manage the accounts receivable database, including adding new accounts and tracking missed payments
Verify the validity of debit accounts
Process and apply payments received from clients
Collaborate closely with the sales team to support and maintain customer relationships

Qualifications

3+ years in accounts receivable or billing, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Associate's degree preferred
Proficiency in Excel and online billing platforms
Strong communication and customer service skills
