Bookkeeper
Job Description
Bookkeeper ($24-26/ hr, depending on experience)

Middlefield, CT
In partnership with a longstanding client of ours, we are recruiting for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client's small accounting/office team. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including invoice processing, vendors, and expense reports
- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) responsibilities, including creating and sending invoices and posting payments
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare financial statements and reports as needed
- Office support such as answering the phone, filing, ordering supplies, etc.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of Bookkeeping experience
- Must have full-time availability and a strong attendance record
- Strong MS Excel skills
