Business Systems Analyst

Location: Shelton, CT (on site full time)
Type: Contract to hire
We are hiring for a Business Systems Analyst role for a client in the Shelton area. This will be heavily focused on developing and maintaining reports and dashboards within the company ERP and business systems. This contact to hire position requires working on site five days a week.
Responsibilities Include:
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards within Epicor Kinetic ERP and other business platforms.
- Use tools like SQL, SSRS, and Excel to analyze data and present it in clear, actionable formats.
- Partner with business users to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Verify data accuracy and consistency, ensuring reports are both reliable and user-friendly.
- Proactively identify ways to improve reporting processes and enhance overall business intelligence capabilities.
- Maintain clear documentation for report logic, data sources, and specifications for future reference.
Qualifications Include:
- Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, SSRS, and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Epicor Kinetic ERP or other enterprise systems.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
