Job Description

Outstanding client is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to work in Thoracic Surgery in Springfield.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4pm with NO WEEKENDS
Clinical Duties (may include, but not limited to):

Taking medical histories
Explaining treatment procedures to patients
Preparing patients for examinations
Assisting the physician during examinations
Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
Performing basic laboratory tests
Instructing patients about medication and special diets
Transmitting prescription refills as directed
Taking electrocardiograms

Pay range is 20.00 - 28.00 per hour depending on experience
