Job Description
Certified Medical Assistant full time needed in Longmeadow
8 - 4pm
or
8:30 - 5pm
Qualifications:
State Certified (CMA) or (RMA)
Fully vaccinated for Covid-19
BLS through the American Heart Association.
2 years minimum experience as a Medical Assistant
Responsibilities:
Take and record accurate vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
Provide excellent patient service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring their comfort during medical procedures.
Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures.
Perform medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and processing insurance forms.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Provide basic life support in emergency situations until further medical assistance arrives.

Abby primarily focuses on on-boarding candidates who have been hired for Temporary and Temporary to Hire assignments and placements within Healthcare positions, both Clinical and Non-Clinical, within the Provider and Payer Communities as well as Profit and Non-Profit environments.
Prior to joining J. Morrissey, Abby worked at a Multi- Site Orthopedic Physician Practice, where she developed skills in customer service and administrative duties. She is extremely excited to be joining our group where she can connect with people, continue to learn and grow, and further her Healthcare Administrative experience.
In Abby's spare time, she is the Head of the J. Morrissey fun Committee.
