Talent Acquisition Specialist
Our client in Farmington, CT is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their HR team. This is a new role due to growth. This role is responsible for full life-cycle recruitment across a broad spectrum of roles and partnering with hiring managers across the organization. Implements and coordinates sourcing strategies, advertising and recruitment activities. Manages the presentation, selection, offer negotiation, closing and administrative components in making a hire.
-Proactively source, screen, interview and hire qualified applicants. This includes posting jobs, pre-screening resumes, interviewing candidates both on the phone and in person.
- Partnering with the hiring manager throughout the selection process.
-Identify/clarify position requirements to ensure accurate and detailed job descriptions and develop action plan to maximize sourcing
-Directly source and recruit candidates through a variety of sources, using multiple cost effective sources, post and manage job postings to various job boards
-Completes background check and references
-Extends employment offers, completes offer letter and schedules start dates
-Incorporate metrics in recruitment function
-Participates in New Employee Orientation process
-BA/BS degree in related field required
-3+ years recruiting experience, healthcare experience a plus
-Experienced in behavioral based interviewing
-Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
-Previous experience with applicant tracking systems a plus
-Customer service orientation
-Knowledgeable in employment laws

Lisa A. Cimorelli brings to J. Morrissey & Company over 15 years of experience in the recruiting and staffing industry. She has a comprehensive understanding of the staffing arena through working both in agency and corporate environments.
Lisa is the Director of Healthcare Staffing Services and is responsible for all temporary and contract staffing in the Healthcare Service Group. Some of the positions she recruits for are RN’s, LPN’s, Nurse Case Managers, Medical Assistants, Medical Coders, Medical Billers, Insurance Follow Up, Medical Secretaries, Medical Records, Patient Registration, Charge Entry, Payment Posting, Claims, Customer Service and any other position, either clinical or non-clinical, in a healthcare or healthcare insurance environment.
Lisa’s staffing career began as the Branch Manager of Insurance Overload Systems where she was responsible for the successful start up of a new office through recruitment and placement of temporary and contract insurance professionals.
In the corporate arena, Lisa was a Staffing Specialist in the Corporate Recruiting Department for CIGNA where she was responsible for recruiting for all disciplines from Management level to Customer Service.
