Job Description
Financial Controller (Construction)
In partnership with our leading construction client, J. Morrissey is actively in the search of a Controller. This person will partner closely with the CFO on driving the accounting and finance group forward as the firm continues to grow and expand. As a member of the leadership team, the Controller will be a key member of the leadership team, ensuring all aspects of financial management are maintained at the highest level.
Highlights of Responsibilities (Detailed description to follow)
- Construction Project Accounting and reporting
- Invoicing, project collections and communications
- Sales tax reporting and compliance
- Oversight of bookkeeper
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in leadership role
- Construction industry experience required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- Highly organized and process driven
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel required
Compensation Package
Salary - $110,000 - $135,000 (DOE)
