Credentialing Specialist - Healthcare
6 Month Minimum Assignment with the potential of going Permanent.
***Remote Position (must live in CT or western MA area for in person meetings)***
Hour Pay is Based on Experience
The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing medical Providers in compliance with NCQA guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Compiles/Coordinates current enrollment material.
- Coordinates the mailing of current enrollment material to potential practitioner members, ensuring that the current versions of forms are being used.
- Works in conjunction with the Medical Staff Office and collaborates with other departments and practitioner offices to obtain materials needed for credentialing and enrollment as part of the credentialing process.
- Coordinates receipt of credentialing/enrollment materials Follows up on any missing items in a timely manner.
- At least 1 year in a managed care environment or equivalent.
- Knowledge and understanding of credentialing guidelines.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities, utilize analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to research information, ability to problem solve.

Prior to joining J. Morrissey, Ally worked for over 20 years in the financial industry as a Life Insurance Underwriter holding an Assistant Vice President title. While there, she was responsible for a number of initiatives including various recruiting efforts across her department.
