Job Description

IMMEDIATE NEED: DENTAL HYGIENIST
(Part-Time)

J. Morrissey is looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist for one of our top clients in the Hartford county. This is a temp to hire opportunity.

Hours: Tuesday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm

Pay: $47+/hr

You will be responsible for:

Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Take X-rays or dental impressions
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Monitor supplies

Prior to joining J. Morrissey, Abby worked at a Multi- Site Orthopedic Physician Practice, where she developed skills in customer service and administrative duties. She is extremely excited to be joining our group where she can connect with people, continue to learn and grow, and further her Healthcare Administrative experience.

In Abby's spare time, she is the Head of the J. Morrissey fun Committee.
