Desktop Support Engineer (Hybrid)

Job Description
Our client is a leading specialized financial company located in the Stamford CT area that is looking to add a talented Engineer to their end user computing department. In this role you will be a key member of a team that supports 400 employees in two east coast office locations. This company offers tremendous internal growth opportunity and an employee first environment.
Salary range 65 – 85K base salary with an excellent benefits package and employee perks
Flexible hybrid schedule in Stamford, CT
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide in person and remote support for end users in a Windows based environment, working with all levels of staff
- Troubleshoot hardware and software related issues while providing white glove service to executives and business heads
- Configure O365 accounts, Active Directory profiles, create user groups, and perform backups
- Set up physical workstations and laptops, image laptops, and install latest Microsoft OS
- Troubleshoot and solve issues with AV equipment, mobile devices, and copiers/printers
- Help coordinate employee/workstations moves and deployments, and perform Windows/Application updates when needed
- Prior experience with Microsoft O365, Azure, Active Directory, Manage engine, and MS Windows 10
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting physical workstations and laptops, imaging, and installing updated OS
- Audio Visual and VoIP system configuration and maintenance
- Prior experience with PowerShell is a plus
- Must have strong communication skills and be a team player
- Ability to provide white glove service to high level executives and provide on site & remote support for other east coast based office location
- Ability to commute to Stamford, CT in a hybrid schedule
