Epic Analyst

Responsible for EPIC Scheduling -Registration)   Module.

The Analyst will be assigned to the ADT, Prelude, Grand Central, Cadence ( Epic System software to conducts regular day-to-day software and application functions related to Admission to Discharge.

  The Epic Systems Analyst  routinely performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic software

Develops and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Epic applications; and will design, build, test, install and maintain those solutions.

The Systems Analyst  uses critical thinking skills in providing systems solutions to meet business needs.

Work with Application Managers/Directors/etc. and the entire Project Team, to collect, analyze and document business operations and workflow.

Collaborates  regularly  with Epic using  effectively with colleagues and across teams to achieve the completion of tasks.

  Troubleshoot problems and address questions from users, and provide on-call support on a rotating basis.

  Make recommendations, review and test changes, enhancements, and each new release as assigned. 

Ensure the test scripts have been created, reviewed, and updated to reflect proposed workflow solutions.

Analyze data conversion needs.

Communicate effectively across all impacted teams associated with task assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience with Healthcare Applications in a systems analyst role.

BA/BS Degree. preferred.

Epic Certification in Grand Central or Cadence 

Effective oral, written communication and follow-up skills. Strong interpersonal relationship skills. Strong desktop tool usage including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, problem solver.


Epic Certification in Grand Central or Cadence 

Epic Cadence, Prelude, ADT or Grand Central Proficiency

Strong knowledge of Scheduling and Registration end user workflow experience

Other technology knowledge: MS word, Excel, Visio and Outlook.
