Events Manager
Job Description
Exciting opportunity for an Events Manager for TRADESHOWS in lower New Haven county, with a dynamic manufacturing company. This organization is committed to continuous growth and internal mobility, seeking an Event Planning leader to organize, plan, and execute all aspects of events. Must be willing to coordinate with all vendors and departments for domestic and international tradeshows.
- At least 2-3 years of proven success in event planning and execution is a must.
- Tradeshow experience is a MUST.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software. (Asana, Airtable, Smartsheet is a plus).
- Flexibility for occasional travel and for events outside of typical work hours.
- Compensation up to 75k DOE.

Abby comes to J. Morrissey with an impressive recruitment background. After successfully launching a satellite branch as the only local employee for an east coast staffing company, she is looking for her next challenge. Abby brings a competitive nature to the J. Morrissey team and will be leading the charge on temporary staffing, running a full desk as part of our Fairfield team.
Abby was a D1 track and field athlete at Xavier University and represented her team at the Big East Conference. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration majoring in Marketing. She is originally from Chicago coming to Connecticut as her forever home.
