Contracts Attorney - Healthcare
Job Description
Location: Onsite initially, transitioning to hybrid (2 remote days per week after onboarding)

Build a Legal Team from the Ground Up
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Attorney who is excited by the opportunity to create, lead, and grow a new legal team within a rapidly evolving healthcare division. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic legal professional who thrives in a leadership role and enjoys building processes, infrastructure, and teams from the ground up.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned healthcare attorney with extensive healthcare contracting experience and the ability to establish best practices, create scalable systems, and serve as a trusted advisor to organizational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and establishment of a new legal contracts division.
- Manage and oversee an existing portfolio of healthcare contracts.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a wide range of healthcare agreements.
- Create contract templates, policies, and standardized legal processes.
- Provide strategic guidance on contract management and legal operations.
- Partner with leadership to build and expand the legal function.
- Support organizational initiatives, including technology and system transitions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and contractual requirements.
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law.
- Significant experience with healthcare contracts and healthcare legal matters.
- Proven success drafting, negotiating, and managing complex agreements.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building programs, processes, or teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive initiatives forward.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
