Executive Assistant
$28-31/hr, depending on experience
Hartford, CT (fully on-site)
Contract position, covering for a leave of absence; will start in January
Monday - Friday, 8 - 4:30
J. Morrissey is seeking an experienced administrative professional who is comfortable supporting VPs and other senior leaders. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and taking on special projects

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 or more years of experience as an EA; if no bachelor's degree, 5+ years of EA experience is required.
  • Must carry professional demeanor and be comfortable working in a high-visibility role with senior leaders
  • Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and communication tools (e.g., MS Office, PowerPoint).


Responsibilities
  • Provide scheduling and administrative support for executive leaders.
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including managing calendar priorities.
  • Prepare agendas, PowerPoint presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Take meeting minutes, identify follow-up actions, and manage follow-through.
  • Process invoices, arrange travel, and complete expense reimbursements.
  • Manage department budget and monitor functional area expenditures.
  • Set up and manage conference room technology and department supplies.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, document standard procedures, and ensure operational effectiveness.
