Food Service Liaison

Job Description
Shift: 2nd shift (week day and every other weekends-11:00-7:30 pm
Pay is 17.00 per hour
Food service Liaison facilitates patient meal selections with emphasis on customer service. Food Service Liaison provides guidance to patients and family members to select foods that are in compliance with Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) orders. Liaison provides support for nursing and Clinical Nutrition Team. In addition, Liaison facilitates intra and inter department communication to provide quality patient care and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Answer incoming calls for patient meal selections.
• Assist Formula technician during delivery of supplements and tube feedings.
• Cover Formula technician days off
• Required to perform other similar and related duties as assigned. The manager may change or add duties to meet the operational needs of the department at any time without prior notice. Adheres to system and department compliance policies (HIPAA, Confidentiality, others) and all other applicable laws and regulations
