Job Description
Gift Planning Assistant
Pay Range: $20 - $26/hr (depending on experience)
Location: Hartford, CT
Employment Type: Temporary, Part-Time (24 hours per week), Potential Temp-to-Hire
The Gift Planning Assistant will support our team with planned giving efforts, including bequests, annuities, and trusts. This role is ideal for someone organized and detail-oriented, interested in supporting donor relationships and handling sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help maintain donor relationships through meetings, emails, and phone calls.
- Schedule appointments with donors, prospects, and advisors.
- Assist donors and advisors with basic planned giving information.
- Prepare and send out materials, including mailings and email updates.
- Manage updates to donor records and gift entries in the database.
- Process life-income gifts and ensure they’re handled properly.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: 2-4 years of office or admin experience; fundraising, donor relations experince is strongly preferred
