Job Description

MEDICAL ASSISTANT
$22.00 to $24.00

J. Morrissey has an exciting new opportunity available! We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for busy Specialty Physician Practice in the Hartford area. We are looking for an MA with strong clinical skills who is able to provide excellent service to patients!

Key Functions/Responsibilities

Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assisting practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care.
Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results and health related information for medical records.
Document all work in an EMR.

Skills and Knowledge

Must have completion certification from a medical assistant program
Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
EPIC EMR experience a MUST!

Prior to joining J. Morrissey, Ally worked for over 20 years in the financial industry as a Life Insurance Underwriter holding an Assistant Vice President title. While there, she was responsible for a number of initiatives including various recruiting efforts across her department.
