Long Term Inpatient Critical Care (Vent dependent) Unit Manager Opportunity
This is a well-staffed, Well -maintained,Quality Unit within an inpatient off- hospital setting.
The Clinical Unit Manager is responsible for ensuring all quality and safety guidelines are met accordingly for patients and nursing staff adhere to.
Enures staffing levels are managed appropriately for this LOW TURNOVER highly dedicted staff of approx 20. Conducts performance reviews and evaluations.

As an Administrative Leader, you will provide professional and fair communication to staff as needed and ensure appropriate training is available for staff as needed.
As part of the Leadership team, you will attend meetings from other sites related to safety and quality, joint commission regulatations and finance and budgeting.

Collaborates with other clinical team members including social workers, respiratory technicians, PCAs, and Dietary.

Educates familes as needed and ensures proper documentation is recorded by staff.
Participates in annual joint commissionn audit with the assistance of the Quality Director.

About the position: Full-Time Day Shift -Flexible hours-no weekends 
Salary depending on Experience: 110-120K (+)

  • Registered Nurse-Licensed in CT or obtain Lic transfer
  • Degree: BSN
  • Ideally 7 total years experience as a Registered Nurse with Min 3 years RN Supervising Experience
  • Min 3 years RN experience in ICU or CCU or Vent  or Stroke or Neuro Unit (Preferred)
  • Staff scheduling and Performance evaluation and training experience
  • Joint commission experience ideally preferred
  • Safety and Quality committee involvement preferred
  • Budgeting experience on a unit required
  • Excellent EMR skils is required
  • Excellent communication verbal and written is required
  • BLS Certification
  • Passion for working with vent dependent patient population
