Job Description
Leave and Disability Coordinator (Temporary)
Location: New Haven, CT - hybrid, 2 days on-site per week
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: Approximately through February/March
Pay; $33-43/hr depending on experience
This temporary role primarily supports return-to-work processes for employees on leaves of absence (LOAs) and assists with staff accommodation requests through the Americans with Diabilities Act (ADA). The Coordinator will work closely with managers and HR Business Partners (HRBPs), liaise with external vendors for ADA and medical processing, and manage internal administrative workflows.
Responsibilities

Manage and process return-to-work activities for employees on LOAs.

Support staff accommodation requests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

Collaborate with managers and HRBPs to facilitate accommodations and leaves.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in Salesforce and Workday.

Serve as a primary point of contact for staff inquiries regarding accommodations.

Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks within the department.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing Leaves of Absence (LOA) and ADA requests.

Thorough knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Experience using HRIS systems, such as Workday.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
