Job Description

The MSW Provides clinical services to assigned client caseload, including individual, family and group therapy.
Creates therapy session schedules with clients, and case planning.
Implements group therapy schedules for various programs.
Responsible for maintaining all required documentation in client records in compliance with Agency and State licensing and accreditation requirements. via Electronic Medical Record software, including, comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, individual and group therapy notes. CANS Assessment and COMP Assessments and documents monthly progress updates in client EMR file.
Attends necessary meetings in support of assigned clients and families, including treatment planning meetings, psychiatric reviews, with Psychiatrist and other external meetings as needed.
Provides crisis intervention as needed in collaboration with the Residential program team when on call for de-escalation.
Works collaboratively with program staff, leadership and collateral providers, regarding treatment and progress of assigned clients.
Provide transportation for clients to and from site as needed (in Agency vehicles or personal vehicle) .

Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology.
Minimum Three years’ experience working with at-risk youths
Ability to multi-task between therapy sessions, documentation, attend meetings and change priorities as needed .
Experience with documentation of DCF related criteria for regulatory compliance of Medicaid criteria
Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.

HOURS: Sun-Thurs 10AM-6PM with rotating on-call responsibilities.
