Manager, Internal Audit

Are you looking to transition out of public accounting and into a management role with a globally recognized company?  Our client is a publicly traded manufacturing company headquartered in Connecticut. Due to a recent promotion, they are currently seeking an individual to expand their internal audit team as they continue to grow.  This individual will play an integral role in working closely with the VP of Internal Audit on developing and executing the internal audit plan.  This is an opportunity to oversee the individual audit engagements including operation audits and Sox testing for both domestic and international operations.  This is a great opportunity for someone with 4-6 years' experience ready to make the change out of public accounting. Responsibilities
  • Audit planning
  • Executing audit
  • Risk assessment 
  • Results reporting
  • Coach and develop audit staff
  • Assist VP of Audit in developing and executing audit plan
  • Oversee audit engagements and Sox testing

Requirements
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience – Public Accounting experience - on Audit side, ideally with manufacturing clients
  • Research and conclude on complex accounting issues
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Knowledge of processes and procedures to create efficiencies
  • CPA preferred
  • Frequent travel – up to 50% (Mostly domestic but occasional international too)  is required

Salary/Benefits

$110k - $140k, 10% bonus
Full benefits package - medical, dental, HSA, etc.
