Self Pay Insurance Follow up - Not the Norm

Medical Billing / Insurance Follow up / Self Pay:
We are seeking a Self Pay Collector for our long standing client of over 25 years. This is a temporary to hire role in a very nice business office setting in the Greater Hartford Area.
The position requires recent Self Pay / Medicare / or Commercial Insurance follow up experience.
This is not typical Self pay collections position. This role will be working with patients to collect money after the insurance companies have paid their bill; will also collect on co pays and co insurance due.
- Responsible for all posted denials, appeals and aging electronic work ques.
- Ability to prioritize your day based upon dollars and aging reports.
- Understanding of next steps and required actions in the claims filing.
Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week.
Excellent pay, Temp to Hire opportunity in a very nice business setting in an office building with Free Parking.

Some of the positions she recruits for are RN’s, LPN’s, Nurse Case Managers, Medical Assistants, Medical Coders, Medical Billers, Insurance Follow Up, Medical Secretaries, Medical Records, Patient Registration, Charge Entry, Payment Posting, Claims, Customer Service and any other position, either clinical or non-clinical, in a healthcare or healthcare insurance environment.
Prior to joining J. Morrissey, Ally worked for over 20 years in the financial industry as a Life Insurance Underwriter holding an Assistant Vice President title. While there, she was responsible for a number of initiatives including various recruiting efforts across her department.
