Immediate Need: Call Center Representative!

Medical appointment scheduling – Call Center

$17-18 Hourly- Full Time – Middletown, CT

New opportunity in Middletown, CT! J. Morrissey & Co. is currently seeking experienced Medical appointment scheduler for a full time call center role available in a beautiful, fast-paced specialty practice. This a great place to work – easy to get to free and simple parking!

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Key Functions/Responsibilities

Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller's needs yourself
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Process payments from patients for co-pays
Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients
Provide patients with support and guidance as needed

Skills and Knowledge

Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical Administration role
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
