Network Engineer (Remote, East Coast)

Our client is well established Technology Solutions Provider with a large and growing client base in the Northeast. They are seeking an experienced network engineer skilled in Cisco to design and lead the implementation of key infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company and make a lasting impact.
Remote position, very limited travel for project-based work (primarily in the Northeast, must reside in EST time zone) Company HQ in CT
Salary 125 – 150K base
Duties and responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of network infrastructure projects while providing high level support for complex issues
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure compatibility issues based on requirements, system architecture while keeping customer expectations in mind
Provide guidance and counsel to top level management on major infrastructure matters
Create and maintain documentation and continue the development and use of best practices

Qualifications:

7+ years of network engineering with CCNP equivalent level of experience
Must have experience with WAN/LAN, Ethernet, MPLS, DMVPN, and TDM
Experience with Cisco ASR/ISR routers, Cisco 9000/4500 series switches, SDWAN, Cisco ISE, and cEdge/vEdge routers highly preferred
Prior experience with Cisco wireless and automation (Ansible, python, etc)
Cisco DNA, Viptella, InfoBlox IPAM, and NFV technologies desired
Excellent communication skills with a consultative mindset
