Job Description
Location: Gainesville, FL
Contract Length: 16 Weeks (01/12/26 – 05/02/26)
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) with outpatient pediatric experience to provide high-quality therapy for children from infancy through adolescence. This contract opportunity focuses on evaluation, plan of care (POC) development, and evidence-based interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional independence.
You will collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and scheduling teams to maintain a full caseload and deliver coordinated, multidisciplinary care. Responsibilities include documentation, billing, family education, and participation in team meetings while maintaining licensure and continuing education requirements.
Requirements:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy

Current Florida OT license & NBCOT certification

CPR/First Aid certification

Minimum 2 years pediatric outpatient experience

Experience with pediatric diagnoses: autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy
