Job Description
Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient Rehabilitation
Location: Confidential (Central & North Central Florida)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Flexible outpatient schedule; discussed during screening
Qualifications
Required
-
Active Florida Occupational Therapist (OT) license
-
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTD, MOT, or BSOT) — new graduates and experienced OTs encouraged to apply

Strong knowledge of outpatient rehabilitation, including orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and functional skills training
-
Excellent patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
-
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team-based outpatient environment
-
CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
Preferred
-
Experience in outpatient orthopedic, neurological, or post-surgical rehab
-
Experience with manual therapy, adaptive equipment, or splinting
-
Experience using EMR systems
-
Experience with aquatic therapy, lymphedema therapy, or pelvic health therapy
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist – Outpatient Rehabilitation, you will help patients regain independence and functional abilities for daily living, work, and leisure. You’ll design individualized therapy plans, deliver hands-on interventions, and provide patient and family education in a supportive outpatient clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities
-
Perform comprehensive OT evaluations including functional mobility, ADLs, fine motor skills, cognition, and strength
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
-
Provide hands-on therapy including ADL training, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, splinting, aquatic therapy, lymphedema management, and pelvic rehab
-
Track patient progress and document accurately in EMR systems
-
Educate patients and families on home programs, injury prevention, and long-term wellness
-
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
-
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional outpatient clinic environment
