We are looking for a highly motivated, professional, intelligent, mature and dedicated individual to join our financial planning team in the important role of part time Office Manager / Bookkeeper. This individual will need to be highly organized, have good communications skills, strong basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) and familiarity with financial accounting. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented and have a warm and professional personality as they will be interacting with a variety of clients and suppliers.
This position has various responsibilities:
- Full change bookkeeping responsibilities including payroll
- Coordinates and administers firm office management activities that keep the firm running smoothly on a daily basis. This includes expense processing and analysis, bank account reconciliations, PC systems and software coordination (with outside vendor), phone systems and supply maintenance.
- Assists in firm monthly compliance testing to ensure the firm meets regulatory and business requirements in accordance with the firm’ s compliance manual.
Bachelor’ s degree from an accredited college or university
Excellent communication skills
Experience 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, QuickBooks (accounting software)
Strong aptitude to learn new technology and software programs
Exceptional organizational and follow through skills, analytical
Flexible work schedule, 20 – 25 hours per week
