Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Location: Hartford, CT (fully on-site)
Hours: 28 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, first shift
* Temp to hire The Administrative Assistant – Donor Relations supports the Donor Relations team and plays a vital role in donor stewardship, relationship management, and administrative support. This position helps maintain accurate donor records, assists with donor communications and events, and supports the overall success of fundraising and development efforts within the organization. Responsibilities
- Assist with events and projects within the department
- Support stewardship of donors through personalized outreach (mail, email, phone, and written communication)
- Assist in managing a major donor caseload and coordinating related activities
- Conduct donor research and run CRM reports to support development planning
- Schedule and facilitate donor visits
- Maintain accurate donor records
- Communicate with external financial institutions regarding donor-related transactions
- Prepare proposals, reports, and major gift collateral materials
- Serve as the primary contact for donor phone calls and email inquiries
- Perform general office duties and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- High school diploma required; college background preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
- Donor relations experience required
