Job Description
HR Generalist (part time, 32 hrs/ week)
Salary: $55-65k, depending on experience
Job Type: Temp to hire
Location: Hartford, CT
An experienced HR Generalist is needed to support the HR Manager of a busy HR department. This person should be willing to take on special projects and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate talent acquisition, including recruitment, screening candidates, offers, and onboarding
- Evaluate and modify HR processes and procedures regarding talent management, employee engagement, recruitment, compensation, etc.
- Administer benefits plans
- Manage employee relations
- Assist in payroll operations
- Maintain confidential files and information
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant HR experience
- Hands on experience in benefits, recruitment, and employee relations
- Experience with payroll is a plus
- Problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred

Jake is a 2021 graduate from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Human Resources as well as a minor in Psychology.
