Job Description
Our client is seeking candidates for a full-time, float position that will rotate between offices located in Hartford, South WIndsor, Plainville, Farmington, Rocky Hill, Glastonbury, and Enfield.
Morning start times vary and can be as early as 6:30 a.m. – full time 8 hour days - flexibility is a must!
Pay rates start at $21/hr ( higher with experience)
Responsibilities of this position:
- Registering patients (check in), including gathering and updating demographic and insurance information
- Rooming patients
- Collecting co-pays and patient account balances
- Obtaining referrals
- Assisting patients with health histories
- Assisting Medical Secretaries with phones, patient sessions, and other functions in support of patient care
Requirements:
- High School diploma plus a minimum of two years’ experience in a medical office with registration background
- Epic EMR experience
- Strong knowledge of medical insurances
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
