Product Owner - EHR System (Hybrid)

Job Description
Our client is a thriving, industry diverse software company looking for an experienced Product Owner to come and manage their electronic health record system offering. In this role you will work very closely with clientele in the healthcare space, acting as the liaison between doctors and the internal development team to ensure the product is tailored to each client’s specific needs.
Flexible hybrid schedule, office located Fairfield County, CT (remote possible for non-local candidates)
Salary range 100 – 140K+ (depending on experience) with a strong benefits package
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with current and prospective healthcare clients to fully understand and anticipate their needs and translate needs into specific product requirements
- Lead projects using Agile development methodologies, define stories, manage and prioritize the team backlog, collaborate with analysts, architects, developers and other subject matter experts and contribute to the overall team vision and roadmap of the product
- Oversee all stages SDLC while monitoring and evaluating the product progress at each stage
- Act as the liaison between the products team and end users to deliver updates
- Take part in daily standup meetings and sprints
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems preferred, but relevant work experience will be considered
- Experience working in a clinical setting with hands on EHR and RCM system experience
- Previous Product Management and/or Business Analyst experience
- Track record of creative problem solving and ability to thrive in a cross-functional and virtual environment
- Prior experience overseeing the entire product development lifecycle from start to finish
- Ability to act as the liaison between clients and the internal offshore development team
- Must have a passion for learning new technologies and improving technology in the healthcare space
- Must be a self starter with excellent communication skills
