Quality Engineer
Location: Fairfield County, CT
A leading manufacturing company in Fairfield County, CT, is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) to join their team. This role focuses on driving product quality, process improvement, and customer satisfaction. The QE supports key initiatives such as Internal Auditing, CAPA, SPC, and complaints handling while utilizing Six Sigma/Lean tools to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve product quality and manufacturing yields through statistical analysis.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues in design, production, and supply chain.
- Support quality systems, including audits, CAPAs, and management reviews.
- Lead Quality Lab operations, including calibration and SPC.
- Collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, GDPs, and SQF standards for food contact packaging.
- 3+ years in Quality Assurance; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Six Sigma/Lean training preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Minitab experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
