Location: Old Saybrook & Clinton, Connecticut
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours/week (between 8:00A – 5:00P)
Pay Rate: $43 - $45 per hour
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Position Overview:
J. Morrissey is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a supportive care team in a small group home setting serving 5–7 adult residents. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide personalized, relationship-centered care in a calm, community-based environment. The position is contract-to-hire, providing the potential for long-term placement with a respected organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to the individual needs of adult residents
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor residents’ health status and respond to changes in condition
- Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support residents with health education and wellness initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and organizational policies
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Connecticut
- Previous experience in residential, group home, or long-term care settings preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small care team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Consistent weekday schedule with no weekends required
- Meaningful work in a low patient-ratio environment (5–7 residents)
