Registered Nurse-Clinical Research Clinic

Supports advanced cell therapy patients with blood diseases or disorders for Clinical Research discoveries program.
Works with patients with blood diseases and cancer related hematologic cancers including: leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other rare blood disorders.
Collaboratively responsible for protocol is followed through training, guiding clinical staff according to all regulatory standards.
Manages strategies for patients experiencing bone marrow suppression include blood product transfusions, colony-stimulating growth factors, and dose
Consistently reviews patient side effects and toxicity levels through reviewing lab reports and data.
Track patient screenings, eligibility, registration, and serves as the primary resource for ensuring medication safety for patients concerns are addressed.
Optimizing the care of patients receiving Cell Therapy and management of toxicities.
Works with a collaborative team of Clinical Research Coordinators, Principal Investigators, Lab, Pharmacists, Compliance team, and several administrative staff including leaders to admin support.
RN-Active Registered Nurse CT. License.
BSN MSN preferred
Accreditation- National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) preferred
Experience in the field of Blood Disorders-Hematology: Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, Dialysis, bone marrow related illness and diseases.
Oncology background - HEM/ONC-Hematology-Oncology
Familiarity with treatments such as: Gene therapy / Immunotherapy, Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Rescue (PBSC), Cytotoxic, Radiotherapy, chemotherapy,
Haematology Diagnosis terminology and Medical Imaging terminology.
Facilitates compliance with the requirements of the research protocol and good clinical research practice
Knowledge of Cytotoxic therapies, associated with hematologic adverse events including neutropenia, anemia, and thrombocytopenia highly preferred
Nurse Education and training to staff.
Clinical research or trail related experience highly preferred.
Technology: Spreadsheet applications and use of local Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Experience with Cancer Treatment Modalities- such as vascular access devices, radiation, surgery, chemotherapy, hematopoietic stem cell transplant,
Common Toxicity Criterial.
