Reimbursement Analyst $$$$
Job Description
Our client, a very reputable and well known, large healthcare organization is seeking a Reimbursement Analyst. This position will be responsible for analyzing reimbursement data on behalf of assigned practices in an effort to minimize denials and maximize reimbursement. You will identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and create and distill “the fix” to the departments.
This is a Contract Role that will have the opportunity to Convert to a regular employee of our client.
The schedule is Monday through Friday; 8:00 to 4:30 and will be eligible for Remote if you live in CT.
he hourly rate range for this role is $33.00 to $35.00. Plus, at conversion there is a robust benefit package offered.
Potential Profiles:
- Billing supervisor not interested in managing people anymore
- Currently a Reimbursement Analysts of sorts looking for a change
- Practice Manager, who is responsible for billing, looking for a change
- Supervisor, Assistant Director, Director of A/R not interested in managing anymore
Required Skills
- Experience from the Health Care arena (in-patient or out-patient)
- Expertise in Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle
- A proven track record in analyzing data and drawing actionable conclusions
- Solid experience working with Payers / Carriers
- Strong computer skills; Epic Preferred
