Remote Wholesale Bid/Spec Account Manager

Summary:
The Remote Account/Project Manager teammate is responsible for applying a comprehensive approach to customer service delivered with effective and purposeful communication, demonstrated by effectively managing and completing project work and bids through quoting, selling, following up, troubleshooting customer problems and providing support from inception to resolution and communicating feedback from the customers to the Branch/Sales Manager and Vice President.
Responseability:
- Provide quality customer service by understanding the customer's needs and how best to maximize their business model to ensure success
- Establish "trusted advisor" status to become a business resource for customers
- Running “bid/spec” project work
- Negotiating with Manufactures representatives to obtain contract pricing for projects
- Working with Contractors on project “buyouts” to land jobs that you will see thru to completion
- Assess account performance and identify opportunity
- Anticipate customer's future needs
- Provide pricing and inventory availability for quotes, project bid specs, for customers via phone and/or walk-in
- Communicate technical information, product promotions, and training events to customers
- Manage customer needs, challenges, and issues from inception to resolution
- NO COLD CALLING
- Account Management and customer service experience
- Proven success rate in project management, account, and revenue growth
- Project / job management
- Distribution experience preferred
- Wholesale experience a plus (electrical, plumbing, etc.) but will train the right person!
- Work remotely, 40-45 hours/week
