Salary: $80,000 - 95,000 based on experience
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys combining financial analysis with hands-on accounting responsibilities. The Senior Financial Analyst will support financial planning, reporting, month-end close activities, and process improvements while partnering with leadership to provide meaningful insights into financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis or senior accounting experience.
- Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience analyzing complex financial data.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial results.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of financial performance.
- Analyze current and historical financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and management presentations.
- Perform general ledger maintenance and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Conduct variance and fluctuation analysis to provide insight into business performance.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation as needed.
- Partner with internal teams to improve reporting processes and support ongoing financial initiatives.
- Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned.
