Senior Internal Auditor
Our Client is a publicly traded manufacturing company headquartered in Connecticut. They are currently seeking an individual to expand their internal audit team as they continue to grow. This individual will play an integral role in the risk assessment, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of results. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to building and maintaining relationships with management to develop effective and efficient systems of internal control. This is an opportunity to oversee the individual audit engagements including operation audits and Sox testing for both domestic and international operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3-5 years' experience ready to make the change out of public accounting before the next busy season. Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience – Public Accounting experience
- Research and conclude on complex accounting issues
- Strong Analytical skills
- Knowledge of processes and procedures to create efficiencies
- CPA a plus
- Frequent travel – up to 50% (Domestic)
Salary: $80,000 - 95,000 DOE, plus bonus

Prior to joining J. Morrissey, Colin was a Contracts and Recruiting Manager at a national recruiting and staffing firm where he led a team of recruiters focusing on sourcing and filling skilled positions across manufacturing, engineering and distribution industries. While there he learned various management styles, industry trends, sales techniques and situational leadership skills.
Colin is actively involved with Quinnipiac Valley Chamber of Commerce, Bristol Continuing Education, and the Central Connecticut State University Alumni Association. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Central Connecticut State University. His recruiting and staffing industry knowledge enables him to communicate effectively with his candidates and clients to ensure good matches on both sides.
