Social Worker - Full Time
Job Description
J. Morrissey is partnering with a long standing healthcare client. We are recruiting for a Social Worker. This position works on an inpatient Geriatric unit. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This is a Temporary to Hire role; Meaning after a period of time you would have the opportunity to convert to a regular full time employee of our client with a robust benefit package.
A representative list of duties:
- Work with other clinical Staff; Social Worker, APRN, Discharge Planner and Consulting Providers
- Create treatment plans and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Provide Therapy to a case load of roughly 25 patents
- Assist with admissions and discharge panning
Monday trough Friday: Flexible day shift: Can be 8:00 to 4:30 or 9:00 to 5:30.

Required:
Master in Social Work (MSW) or MA.
LCSW
1 Year of experience as a Social Worker

Prior to joining J. Morrissey, Ally worked for over 20 years in the financial industry as a Life Insurance Underwriter holding an Assistant Vice President title. While there, she was responsible for a number of initiatives including various recruiting efforts across her department.
