Sr Software Engineer - Remote (New England)
Job Description
Our client is a niche marking company and a true industry leader in their space. They are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to their team as the company continues to grow in revenue and clientele. If you are looking to join a highly collaborative environment where you can contribute to the development of their key product line, this is the opportunity for you.
Remote with occasional travel (New England States preferred)
Salary range, 135 – 170K + benefits and unstructured bonus potential
Duties:
- Work alongside a seasoned team of engineers developing the company’s core product
- Build, maintain, and strengthen the integrated systems
- Develop and manage high quality, robust and efficient data pipelines
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including engineers, hardware engineers, and database personnel to ensure system specifications and requirements are met
- Support systems running on the Linux OS, and maintain detailed documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, engineering preferred but proven industry experience will be acceptable
- 5+ years of experience within software engineering
- Extensive experience with C++ software development
- Experience operating within a Linux based environment
- Prior embedded systems experience
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, Bash, PostgreSQL
- Experience with modeling real world systems, and data analysis
- Must be an effective communicator both written and verbal
- Strong collaboration skills
